I am a big proponent and supporter of families eating meals together around a table. I’ve often thought of starting a non-profit along these lines, but I don’t think I need to do that in order to get the message out. While eating as many meals as possible together around a table every day is best, if you can only manage one sit down meal a day I recommend making the dinner table a priority. One of the more important benefits is simply to have time to check in with each other at the end of a busy day. Another benefit is slowing down to eat a home cooked meal. If eating around a table is not a regular part of your families routine send me an e-mail at NTWGdad@gmail.com and I can give you some simple tips and advice to get your family started.
